With popular tourist hotspots constantly refreshing their appeal, Spain remains the top destination of choice for a large number of European holiday makers.

Malaga and Alicante sit on the southern coast of Spain and are among the most visited of those traditional holiday destinations.

Both cities benefit from searing summer heat and revel in all the most attractive aspects of the Spanish lifestyle – late nights, sangria drinking and the special Spanish food and culture. Even outside of the peak holiday months the weather in Malaga and Alicante is almost guaranteed to be pleasant.

Malaga’s varied history is a result of its occupation by Greeks, Romans and Moors and there are many beautiful castles and forts which can be visited there.

Today Malaga still appeals to visitors of any age and taste. Among the particularly Spanish pastimes which can be enjoyed in Malaga are seeing a Flamenco show, usually combined with dinner, or visiting the old bull fighting rings.
One very popular pastime in Malaga is golf as the region has built several world class golf courses in an effort to cater to tourists.

Children are also well provisioned for in Malaga as there are a number of water and amusement parks which make a great day out for all the family. Car Hire Malaga is the cheapest and quickest way to get to these places at your own convenience.

Top 5 Amenities Of Great Beach Hotels

admin | June 23rd, 2010 - 3:16 pm

California Great beach hotels are fast becoming one of the top vacation destinations for families and travelers alike. Great beach hotels offer sun, fun and a variety of activities to choose from. It is time to select the hotel that you will reside in for your vacation. With a plethora of hotels options how does one pick the perfect Great beach hotels? A good way to choose a hotel is by the amenities that the hotel has to offer. With all the travel tools that are available on the web, you can do a little research before you go to ensure you get what you want. Listed below are what I feel are the top 5 amenities that Great beach hotels can offer to you and your family to make your accommodation choice perfect for you.
1) Amenity –beach Access and Pool

When you are in California you are there for a reason. Chances are you are there to have enjoyment on the beach. Many Great beach hotels have beach access right at the hotel. While some do not, chances are there is a beach not far, usually within walking distance from the hotel. When it comes to beach access, decide how much time you will be spending on the beach, and how long you want to travel to get to one. One more consideration is cost. Hotels that have private beach access tend to be more expensive than hotels that don’t.
When choosing Great beach hotels, consider whether or not you would like the hotel to have a pool, and make sure that the pool is open. Hotels do go through reconstructions and sometimes they don’t list whether the pool is open while you are there. It can spoil a vacation if the kids want to go to the pool and you find out it is closed due to renovation while you are there. A hotel may list that they have a poll on their website, but it is still a good ides to give the hotel a call to ensure the pool will be open while you are there.
2)  Amenity – Onsite Dining

While it is pleasant to experience dining outside your hotel, sometimes vacationing can make you tired and you may not want to leave your hotel. When choosing Great beach hotels, check to see what kind of dining options the hotel offers. Some hotels offer only 1 or 2 choices for dining, while others offer a variety of options. Great beach hotels offer fine dining in the evening so it might be good to check on what type of attire is suitable for this type of restaurant.
3)  Amenity – Spa and/or Health Club

Great beach hotels offer an onsite spa or fitness center. While you are on vacation and you are looking to pamper yourself, check into these choices. While several hotels offer onsite spas and fitness centers, others offer affiliate programs. A lot of times when a spa is offsite the hotel will give transportation. It is still a good thought to check with the hotel to see what they do and do not offer in regards to a spa and health club. Great beach hotels offer spa packages or specials that are included in the packages, so check into this and save some money by booking it all together.
4) Amenity – Children’s Activities

Beach is a great family destination. When choosing Great beach hotels, make sure it offers something for everyone. Great beach hotels offer things for children, such as kiddy pool and playground equipment. Beach hotels offer activities for older children such as table games and arcades right in the hotel. Check these out prior to you go to make sure the whole family is happy.
5)  Amenity – Onsite Entertainment

Great beach hotels offer entertainment right at the hotel. This can be a main consideration when booking a room. While a lot of people enjoy the onsite entertainment some people don’t. Check to see what kind of entertainment the hotel provides, and what time it ends. If events finish later than you would like, and you still like the hotel, request a room away from the area where the entertainment or event is being held. If onsite entertainment is your thing, it is a good idea to talk with the hotel’s concierge to get a list of events going on at the Great beach hotels.
Great beach hotels offer something a little bit different. Prior to choosing one, consider the above amenities and others that I have not mentioned before planning your next vacation. Analysis the hotel’s website as well as other online sources to see what other guests have said about the hotel you are thinking about.

The winter months are pretty popular with since the temperatures are mild and pleasant in comparison to the dipping temperatures in their countries. Also, important carnivals and beach festivals are held during these months therefore attracting more travelers from all over. Summer months are hot and constitute the low season. These months offer the perfect opportunity to the budget conscious traveler to visit this beautiful island country. Rainy season, which can stretch anywhere between June to October can be tolerable, however, during September and October the heavy downpours can be a hindrance.

If you have decided on the time of the year, you would like to visit Jamaica, the next aspect you need to look into is whether you intend to fly or sail. Great North American Travel Destinations in June

admin | June 21st, 2010 - 1:15 pm

The United States of America is home to some of the most spectacular views in the world. From the snowy mountaintops of the Sierra Nevada’s in eastern California to the subtropical swamplands of the everglades in southern Florida, we have access to just about every variation of ecosystem imaginable. With so many cheap hotels and cheap airline tickets within our reach, it’s definitely something to take advantage of. Being just after spring, when the weather is nice and the vegetation is in full bloom, June is the perfect time of year to plan a getaway. There are many destinations that are exceptionally beautiful during the early summer month of June.

Flagstaff, Arizona sits in the mountains at an elevation of 6,910 ft. Known for its crisp, refreshing mountain air; Flagstaff is extraordinarily beautiful during the summer time, with average temperatures in the 70s to 80s. One of the best things about Flagstaff is its breathtaking view of the San Francisco Peaks, sitting about 7 miles north. If you decide to visit this adorable town, be sure to visit its historical downtown, not to mention the many surrounding sites and book early. Looking for advanced travel to Flagstaff can score you some cheap flights and killer hotel deals. Sedona is a short drive down the switchbacks, and home to some amazing red rock country. If you are a hiker, this is your place. Even better than Sedona, with 5 million visitors from all over the world just between the months of May and October, the nearby Grand Canyon is a must see. Flagstaff, being a mere 90 minutes to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, gives the perfect opportunity to visit astonishing canyon created by the powerful Colorado River.

With an unbelievable 1,960 miles of shoreline, Lake Powell is the aftermath of the Glen Canyon Damn on the Colorado River. Filled with awe-inspiring canyons and deep blue water, Lake Powell is best visited by boat, where you have access to all of the amazing sites it has to offer. Lake Powell is home to some jaw-dropping views that words cannot due justice. With its colorful canyon walls and oddly shaped rocks, it looks as if it’s not from this world. If you enjoy water sports and exploring without limits, you would find yourself in paradise here. Lake Powell is truly a site like no other.

Only a state away, tucked away in the Sierra Nevada’s where California and Nevada meet, sits Lake Tahoe at an elevation of 6,237 ft. While it may snow through the winter, Lake Tahoe’s temperatures are optimal during the month of June, staying in the 70s. The beautiful green, forest covered land has many activities to offer including hiking, boating, swimming and, of course, fishing on the gorgeous lake that is home to many different varieties of Trout.

However, if you prefer the city, Los Angeles is one of the best. Placed on the Pacific Coastline, L.A. is a magnificent city to visit. It is surrounded by numerous surf-influenced beach towns, including Long Beach, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. If you don’t mind a two-hour drive, Big Bear Mountain is a great spot to enjoy many recreational activities. California has it all. Its one of the only states where you can visit the warm, sandy beaches and snow covered mountain tops in the same day.

Though there are many more beautiful places in the western region of our country, the east has a lot to offer as well. Florida’s panhandle, known as the Emerald Coast for its emerald green waters, doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. We all know South Florida is a great site to see, being home to the Florida Keys and Everglades, but not too many speak of the northwestern region of the state. This could be what is keeping it from becoming over populated like the south, if that’s the case; maybe less recognition is a good thing. Navarre beach says it best, “Florida’s best kept secret.” The Florida panhandle is home to sandy, white beaches unlike any others in the states. The combination of the brilliant emerald green ocean and snow white, soft sand makes this spot a choice place for vacationing.

Our Country is big. These are only a few prime examples of places that are beautiful vacation destinations during early summer time. There’s discount airfare available for every place imaginable. So decide which spot is for you and start searching for some cheap flights! They always say “live life to the fullest,” and what better way than visiting all the breathtaking places this country has to offer.
